Dan is a unique climber to say the least! As you can see from the picture, he uses a car seat belt as a harness and flip line. As we say "buckle up for safety Dan".

Dan helped us out on two trees in May and April. A medium walnut and a large maple. The maple was a difficult take down as it had extensive branches over the owners house and neighbors house. There was also an 8,000 volt main power line close to one side of the top branches.

Dan did an excellent job not even touching the roof with anything... or the power lines.

Dan is an old Navy deck ape and has lots of experience climbing over the side of a ship on a rope. He really knows his knots and climbs more like he would on a ship then as an arborist, but hey it works!!
