Roger had a job to take down six Walnut trees and called us to haul
the brush away. This was during the time when Aaron was on vacation so
we were not busy with tree removal. Basically it was just me working.
Since we had no pressing jobs Roger used our bucket truck to remove the top of one of the trees
which was over the power and phone lines in front of the house. Roger
used the jib to tie off the top of the tree then cut the top and lift it
off the wires and carry it over to an area where it could be lowered
without damage to anything.
We were also hired to haul the logs to a
staging area for sale.

"Simple" Brush
Job?
There is no such thing as a simple job, even a brush job.
Especially if Roger is involved. When he says "I have some brush to pick up.
Plan on two or three days. this one took three days.
Lucky 7
Seven walnut trees of brush. Roger again asks me to come and get
"some" brush.
Only a couple piles
When I arrived, there was only a couple piles out front. But
learning from our first meeting with Roger I went to the backyard.

Roger Using Our Bucket
Since I was not excited about going to the top, I let Roger use the bucket to
top one of the trees
Tree Topped
Next thing I knew he literally topped it. The WHOLE top was on the jib and
coming down.

Over The Top
Roger even took the bucket over the top but finally had to come down and turn
the truck around.

Careful
Lowering the last limb between the house and hedge row.
Moving Logs
Tight Fit
The little machine maneuvered well in small spaces and rough
terrain with big loads without damage to the lawn... even in the rain
Big Load Little Machine
Max Load
To raise the forks we had to use a little mussel power to assist.
Careful
To load the logs we used the jib from the bucket truck in the
background. Aaron is in the bucket waiting for me to take the pictures and get
back to work... like always
.
Lot of power
For such a small machine it has a lot of lifting power. We
actually took this log job away from a company with a clam crane because of the
